More SoHo scenes

SoHo's atmosphere is as much a draw as the food. The live music, white table clothes, and strong window light makes transitioning from morning to afternoon an easy effort. Although there is better brunch food in Boston, I wonder how many other places provided a better environment to relax with the newspaper and appreciate good company.

And don't forget the creme brulee.

SoHo scenes

live jazz played as we feasted on our buffets. not as much your local neighborhood joint, but more of a modern open bar atmosphere. the caged legs were a nice touch.

Good morning, Boston

Every morning is a new adventure. Your first challenge, what shampoo to use in the shower. Or, do you shower at all. Next, what to wear, wait, must check the weather first. Drive in? Take public transportation. Kids to school? Dog to the groomer.

All these things before you head out the door to the rest of an increasingly harried life. Did you stop for breakfast?

Breakfast is the best meal of the day. And breakfast is even better, if not BEST, on the weekends.

Now you can enjoy your morning, in fact, you can take it back. You can actually read the paper, catch up with friends, explore new neighborhoods or just relax and take in the world around you. Maybe you even turn your blackberry OFF. Four cups of coffee won't cost you $12 and you can order your eggs anyway you like.

As newbies to Boston, who enjoy each others' company and find brunch decadent yet down-to-earth, we are setting out to chronicle our weekend mornings. We hope you enjoy our scramblings and find this helpful when looking for good a.m. plates.

Enjoy.
